Okawville scores late to win at Woodlawn

Woodlawn scored seven straight in a little more than a minute, tying the game 43-43 on a McKay three-pointer with 1:45 to play. McKay led the Cardinals with 13.

Tied at 45 with time winding down, Jacksen Harre found Heckert in the lane for the go ahead score. Heckert led all scorers with 17 on the night.

Okawville improves to 11-5 with the win. Woodlawn falls to 15-3.

The Rockets will host a six-team mid-winter tournament next week, while the Cardinals are the top seed at the Midland Trail Conference tournament.
