METROPOLIS — The Charleston Blue Jays used a big second half to down the host Massac County Patriots 63-49 to win the Superman Classic championship.
The Patriots led 22-19 at the half, but the Blue Jays outscored them 44-27 in the second half for the win.
Tournament MVP Samuel Bledsoe led Charleston with 17 points. Isaiah Gillespie added 15 and Blessin Kimble 13.
Julian Russell led Massac County with 13.
