CARTERVILLE — The Benton Rangers put together two quality days to capture the Carterville 1A Wrestling Regional championship, nearly doubling second place Anna-Jonesboro.
Heavyweight Gabe Craig won his division to remain unbeaten on the season. At 45-0, Craig now owns the school record for wins in a season. Peyton Swigonski and Logan Williams also won their weight classes for Benton. The Rangers also had four, second place finishes and five third place finishes.
