CARTERVILLE — One of the area’s top high school volleyball coaches is on the move. After eight successful seasons as Cobden’s head coach, Nathan Emrick is headed to Carterville to take over the Lady Lions.

Emrick’s teams went 152-118 the last eight seasons, including seven regional championships and sectional championship in 2017.

He will replace Johanna Mandrell who led Carterville to a 21-17 this past season.
