This week’s WMIX Sports/Josh Finley, Country Financial Ram of the Week is not only a repeat winner, but now becomes the first to win for two sports in the same day! Mt. Vernon Lady Rams Britney Brown pulled double duty on Saturday, October 24. After finishing the Highland Cross Country Regional in Alhambra with a time of 19:53.30, Britney raced to the Swimming & Diving Sectional where she finished 5th in both the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke! Britney’s 8th place finish in cross country qualified her for the sectional in Olney. Wow!
