Nashville strengthens hold on top spot of Coaches’ Poll

The Nashville Hornettes strengthened their grip on the number one ranking in our Section618.com Deep South Volleyball Coaches’ Poll after a week that saw wins over Woodlawn and Centralia as well as winning the Benton tournament title.

The Hornettes received 11 of the 12 first place votes. Fairfield received the other first place vote and moved into a tie with Carterville for second. Centralia remains fourth with NCOE cracking the top five at number five.

Pinckneyville, Du Quoin, Massac County, Woodlawn and Murphysboro round out the top 10.
