Congratulations to this week’s WMIX Sports/Josh Finley, Country Financial Ram of the Week! Blaze Greathouse of Mt. Vernon Rams Golf qualified for state after an impressive performance at the Effingham Sectional. Blaze finished just 6-over at Effingham Country Club with matching 39s on both the front and back nine. Last weekend at Weibring Golf Club in Normal, Greathouse shot an 8-over 79 on Friday followed up by an 81 on Saturday. The two day total of 160 put him at 18-over and 65th overall in all of Class 2A! Congratulations, Blaze Greathouse! Great finish to a phenomenal prep career!
