Look at the Mt. Vernon Township High School FFA!!! This week’s WMIX Sports/Josh Finley Country Financial Ram of the Week received even more accolades! They were recognized on stage at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, for being a three star FFA chapter, the highest ranking a change can receive. Only 3% of all FFA chapters earn this award annually. According to the MVTHS Facebook Page, members at the convention also got to hear a keynote address from the Fancy Lady Cowgirl, Courtenay DeHoff, as well as retiring addresses from the National FFA Secretary Anna Mathis and the National FFA Eastern Region Vice President Miriam Hoffman, who is from Illinois! Members also experienced the National FFA College & Career Expo. Congratulations to the MVTHS Future Farmers of America!
