CRAB ORCHARD — Crab Orchard’s Colton Throgmorton is the Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Player of the Week for November 22-27.

The junior earned MVP honors helping the Trojans win the Country Financial Turkey Tournament at Elverado. Throgmorton averaged 18 points a game in the tourney, including a career-high 28 to go with 9 rebounds in the championship game.

At 6-0, the Trojans are one of only a handful of unbeaten teams in the region. Throgmorton believes the team’s balance is the key and that the Trojans’ success is a result of a lot of hard work.

Throgmorton and the Trojans will play in the Conrad Allen Holiday Tournament this week in Wayne City.
