SESSER — Isaac King ran for 206 yards and scored two touchdowns to go with a 53-yard interception return touchdown helping lead Carmi-White County to an impressive 44-12 win at Sesser-Valier/Waltonville in a matchup of 2-0 teams.

Draxtyn Aud ran for 125 yards and scored two touchdowns as the Bulldogs rolled up 381 rushing yards on the night.

Aud’s 47-yard TD run gave the Bulldogs a 6-0 lead 1:32 into the game. King then picked off SVW quarterback Carson Hoffard and returned for a touchdown to put Carmi-White County up 14-0 after one quarter.

After the Bulldogs’ defense came up with a fourth down stop, King scooted 78 yards on the very next play for a TD to put Carmi-White County up 22-0.

Dez Malone got the Red Devils on the board late in the first half. Malone’s 42-yard touchdown run with 15 seconds to go cut the Bulldogs’ lead to 22-6 at the half.

The Red Devils got the ball to start the third, and marched down the field eating exactly half of the quarter. SVW had no points to show for the effort though, as the Bulldogs came up with another stop on fourth down.

Aud then capped a 5-play drive with his second touchdown of the night, as the Bulldogs led 30-6 after three quarters. King and Warren Legg added TD runs in the fourth for Carmi.

The Bulldogs (3-0) will host CZR next Friday. S-V/Waltonville (2-1) will also be at home to take on Edwards County.
