This week’s Josh Finley Country Financial/WMIX Sports Ram of the Week honors go to Lady Rams Soccer midfielder Evie Jetton, who delivered a strong all-around performance in a 3-0 week for Mt. Vernon.

Jetton played a key role in the Lady Rams’ dominant stretch, which included a 9-0 road win at Mt. Carmel on April 6, a 3-2 home victory over Olney on April 8, and a 3-0 shutout win over Chillicothe (Illinois Valley Central) on April 11.

The junior midfielder filled up the stat sheet with 4 goals and 2 assists, totaling 10 points on the week, while also contributing 10 steals defensively. Her ability to impact the match in all phases helped the Lady Rams control possession, create scoring chances, and apply consistent pressure on opponents.

Through nine matches, Mt. Vernon sits at 7-2 on the season and will return to action Monday, April 20, hosting Harrisburg at 5:30 p.m. at Ken Hunt Stadium (MVTHS).
