The Rangers led 7-0 at the half, and extended that lead to 21-0 after three quarters.  It was 28-0 before the Redbirds got on the board in the fourth, but Benton answered with a Tyler Butler touchdown reception to slam the door shut.

The Rangers improve to 5-0 and can clinch a playoff spot with a win at home next week against Harrisburg.

The Redbirds fall to 4-1.  They will visit Murphysboro next week.
