MARION — The Herrin Tigers won their second straight game at the Lady Cat Tip-Off Classic in Marion, downing the hosts 44-29.
After trailing by double figures, the Lady Wildcats closed within five early in the fourth quarter, but Herrin outscored Marion 13-3 the rest of the way to win by 15.
The Tigers finish the tournament 2-2. The Lady Wildcats are 0-3 and will close tourney play Friday against Hamilton County.
