METROPOLIS — Massac County senior Jase Mizell has had a major hand in the Patriots getting off to a 7-1 start on the basketball floor.

He’s also pretty good on the baseball diamond. Wednesday, he signed to play for one of the top juco baseball programs in the country, Wabash Valley College.
