WAYNE CITY — The Crab Orchard Trojans moved to 2-0 in pool play at the Conrad Allen Holiday Tournament with a 68-65 win over Gallatin County Wednesday night.
Hunter Throgmorton’s basket with 30 seconds to play broke a 65-65 tie. The Trojans added a free throw before Dawson Hish missed a potential game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer. Hish led all scorers with 33.
Kegan Peek led the Trojans with 26. Throgmorton added 18 and Quentin Meyers 12.
Crab Orchard is back in action at the tournament Thursday against Webber in one of the three games that were postponed Monday night. Gallatin County will play Wayne City Friday night.
