MARION — It was a big day for four Marion Wildcats seniors, as they signed their national letters of intent Wednesday. Two Wildcat softball players and two golfers made their college choices official.
Karris Rhine, a fixture in the outfield and the middle of the Wildcats softball lineup, is headed to Austin Peay to play D-1. Rhine’s teammate Presley Barnett signed with John A. Logan College.

Joining Barnett at Logan will be golfer Baylee Kelley. Kelley wrapped up a great senior season by making the cut at the 2A state tournament. Fellow senior golfer Sarah Capel also wrapped up her senior season by making the cut at state and finishing tied for 36th. Capel will be headed to McKendree in the fall.
