MT. VERNON — Congratulations to Mt. Vernon senior NJ Benson, the Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Player of the Week for November 29-December 4.

Benson scored 49 points and grabbed 24 rebounds helping the Rams to a 1-1 week, including a win at Carbondale and a one-point loss to Belleville East.
