Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Player of the Week nominees

Voting is now open and will run through midnight Thursday for this week’s Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Player of the Week. The poll is on the upper right-hand side of the page.

Addison Denny, Anna-Jonesboro: The senior averaged 13.5 points and 14 rebounds in 2 games last week, including a 20-point/21-rebound performance against Marion.

Olivia Drew, Benton: The senior captain for the Rangler Girls dance team was given the Rising Star Award at the team’s last competition for outstanding showmanship, execution, and enthusiasm.

Hannah Duke, Century: The senior averaged 24.5 points in 2 wins last week against Cobden and Century. Duke has already started this week 23 points and the game winning three-pointer against Webber.

Carly Foster, Gallatin Co.: The junior averaged 30 points and 5.7 rebounds in 3 games last week, including a 38-point performance in a win over Hardin County.

Nate Kaufman, Agape Christian: The junior averaged 23.8 points in 5 games for the Knights last week, including a 34-point/16-rebound performance in a win over Joppa/Maple Grove.

Taj McKinney, Wayne City: The senior averaged 26.5 points in 2 games last week for the Indians, including a 32-point performance in a win over Gallatin County. In the process, McKinney became only the 4th player in school history to surpass 1500 career points.

Lilly Mosby, Eldorado: The senior averaged 21.3 points and 12 rebounds in 3 games last week. Mosby posted double-doubles in all 3 games, including a 24-point/16-rebound performance in a win over Edwards County.

Alyssa Seymour, Chester: The senior averaged 20.5 points and 14 rebounds in 2 games last week. Both games were double-doubles–19 points/16 rebounds and 22 points/12 rebounds.

Koby Wilmoth, Centralia: The junior averaged 21 points in 2 Orphans wins last week, home against Althoff and at a shootout in Evansville against Reitz.
