ZEIGLER — Josie Wettig tossed a two-hit shutout to lead Trico to a 4-0 win at ZRC, the Pioneers’ second win over the Tornadoes in four days.

Taylor Cottom ended Tuesday’s game with a walk-off home run for Trico in the 10th inning. Friday, Cottom started the scoring with a two-out, two-run basehit scoring Dalyn Eilers and Mia Jimenez.

Trico added single tallies in both the second and third innings for a 4-0 lead, and that was more than enough for Wettig, who struck out 10 on the day.

The Pioneers improve to 13-2 and remain unbeaten in conference play. The Tornadoes fall to 8-2.
