NCOE unanimous number 1, new additions to Volleyball Coaches Poll

With the early season dust settling, NCOE is now the unanimous number one team, and we have two new entries in the top 10 of the latest Section618.com Volleyball Coaches Poll.

The Fighting Cardinals picked up all 14 of the first place votes. Fairfield remains second, with Nashville and Pinckneyville each moving up a spot to third and fourth. Carterville dropped two places, but remains in the top 5.

Hamilton County moves up two spots to sixth, while Centralia remains seventh. Murphysboro debuts in the rankings at eighth, a spot ahead of Massac County. Edwards County also makes its first appearance in the poll at number 10.

Carmi-White County, Marion, Woodlawn, Herrin, Carbondale, Grayville, and West Frankfort also received votes.
