Congratulations to Mt. Vernon’s NEW Lady Rams Wrestling Program! They’ve not only made their debut on the mat, they’ve made their first appearance as WMIX Sports/Josh Finley Country Financial Rams of the Week! In a Dec. 2 meet at Granite City they finished 3rd out of 15 participating teams! Congratulations also to Jai’Anna Terry for taking 3rd place in 110, runner up Madison Teriet in 155, Faith Barrett for 3rd in 190, and to Addy Barrett for fourt place in the heavyweight division. The Lady Rams head coach is Alejandro Wajner, who also coaches the Rams. Way to go, women!
