Congratulations to Mt. Vernon Rams Basketball! They are this week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Rams of the Week from WMIX Sports! The Rams won their second consecutive regional championship in a THRILLER over the Olney Tigers. The Rams held on 40-37 to cut down the nets. They got to the title game by handling Charleston 64-45. Cale Maurer led the way with 13 in the title game while Navontae Nesbit, Jr. had 17 in the semifinal. The Rams advanced to this week’s sectional at Triad!
