Congratulations to Kamaree Pollard! Pollard is this week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Ram of the Week from WMIX Sports! This week Pollard receives the honors for her performance at the Carol Schneider Invitational in Mascoutah on April 23. Pollard won the 100 meters (12.27 secs, photo finish), 200 meters (25.19 secs) and set a meet record in the 400 meters at 58.73 seconds! The performances left her ranked 5th in the state (in Class 2A) in the 100, 2nd in 200, 4th in the 400, and 9th in the triple jump! Pollard would later break the school record in the 400 at the South Seven Conference meet on Tuesday, May 6. The record of 57.24 seconds bests the mark of 58.6 set by Audrey Knox in 1987! Pollard would add Conference Championships in the 100, 200, and 400 races! What a career this senior has put together! Congratulations, Kamaree!
