This week’s Lynn Braden, State Farm Fox of The Week goes to an absolute GAMER in every sense of the word. The sport of softball/baseball can be an absolute grind at times and it takes everything you have to get a win, with the smallest details becoming the biggest difference makers. In those moments, in those type of games, you need someone like Colebie Miller to step up for your squad, and step up is what she did in the Lady Foxes 3-2, 12-inning win over Flora on Tuesday. This Freshman not only tied the game up from the plate with a long-ball in the 10th inning, but she would labor through 172 pitches on the way to a victory. AND she’s a Freshman?! Give it up for this week’s Fox of The Week, Colebie Miller! Congratulations, we can’t wait to see what you do next and for the next FEW years to come on the softball field.
