This week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Rams of the Week features your first four-peat ROTW winners of the school year! The Mt. Vernon Rams Cross Country team capped off their postseason with an 11th-place team finish at the IHSA Class 2A State Finals, coming just three points shy of a Top 9 placement. Saturday’s performance at Detweiller Park wrapped up a remarkable run that included a South Seven Conference Championship, an IHSA Regional Championship at Carterville, and a 5th-place team finish at the Mattoon Sectional.
