Freshman Dalton St. Angelo is this week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Ram of the Week after a dominant performance at the Steve Bradley Invitational on Saturday, December 6, at Civic Memorial High School in Bethalto.

St. Angelo captured 1st place in the 120-pound class, remaining perfect on the season and improving to 7-0 overall with his tournament championship.

Dalton opened the tournament with a pinfall in 2:59 over Ethan Clark of East St. Louis before advancing with another pin, this time in 1:18 over Hunter Hodge from Jerseyville in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, St. Angelo earned a 6-0 decision against Ryley Correll of Brentwood Academy to secure his spot in the championship match.

In the finals, St. Angelo capped off his impressive run with a 6-0 decision over Murphysboro’s Paxton Pyatt, showcasing poise well beyond his years and a strong start to his high school wrestling career.
