Congratulations to this week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Rams of the Week–Rams and Lady Rams Bowling! Both teams DOMINATED the South Seven Conference Tournament on Wednesday, January 7. In addition to team titles, the Lady Rams Jayda VanMatre is the individual South Seven Champion beating out teammate Briley Dent by just two pins. What a performance–plus multiple All-South Seven Bowlers between both the Rams and Lady Rams.
This year’s South Seven Tournament was hosted by Carbondale at SI Bowl in Carterville.

“Raymond Andrews (2nd) Sam Klimek (3rd) Brody Elliott (5th) and Travin Elliott (6th) for the boys.”

The Rams are at the North Clay Regional TODAY (at Pagel Silver Dollar Lanes in Effingham) with hopes of advancing to the Mt. Vernon Sectional on Saturday, January 24. According to the schedule, both teams will bowl in Highland on Monday. Lady Rams postseason play will begin on Saturday, February 7, at Herrin.
