🏆 Hamilton County Senior High Color Guard

Lynn Braden State Farm Insurance / WMCL Fox of the Week

The Hamilton County Senior High Color Guard is your Lynn Braden State Farm Insurance / WMCL Fox of the Week after a historic performance at the Illinois Drill Team Association (IDTA) State Competition in Springfield this past Saturday.

The Foxes captured State Championships in both Class A Lyrical and Class A Precision Flags, securing an incredible double victory on the state stage.

Led by Head Coach Lindsey Hansen and Assistant Coach Lynnette Staley, the achievement is even more impressive considering the program is still in its infancy following a 15-year hiatus. Now in just its third season back, the seven-member squad has quickly established itself as one of the top programs in the state.

This year’s championship team includes:
Xylynn Bowers, Hailey Burris, Charley Burton, Nola Jacobs, Faith Knight, Brooke Sullivan, and Shiloh Willis.

The group’s success didn’t start at state — it was built over an outstanding season in which they earned first place at every competition they performed in, showcasing elite precision, artistry, and teamwork throughout the year.

From rebuilding a program to winning multiple state titles in just three years, the Hamilton County Color Guard has set a new standard of excellence and made the entire Foxes community proud.

Congratulations to the Hamilton County Senior High Color Guard — your Lynn Braden State Farm Insurance / WMCL Fox of the Week! 🦊🎖️
