Congratulations to Senior Shiloh Willis, this week’s WMCL Fox of the Week, presented by Lynn Braden, State Farm Agent in McLeansboro!

Shiloh was selected to participate in the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) All-District Choir, which will be held November 22 at Belleville West High School. Her audition included scales, arpeggios, and multiple musical selections — a process that required hours of preparation and dedication.

This honor is one of the highest musical achievements for high school vocalists, and Shiloh’s hard work and talent have truly paid off. With this selection, she is now eligible to audition for the ILMEA All-State Choir, which will take place in Peoria this January.

Hamilton County Senior High School is part of District 6, which includes schools from 24 counties across Southern Illinois — making Shiloh’s accomplishment even more impressive.
