Congratulations to this week’s Lynn Braden, State Farm/WMCL Foxes of the Week for getting it done in the classroom!

This week, we recognize a remarkable group of Hamilton County High School scholars for their outstanding academic achievement. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) has announced the 2026–27 Illinois State Scholars, an honor reserved for students ranking among the top ten percent of graduates statewide. Selection is based on ACT or SAT scores combined with sixth-semester class rank.

Congratulations to the following Foxes on earning the prestigious Illinois State Scholar designation:
Aydan Hood, Cohen White, Ethan Kessler, Jace Cross, Cameron Milligan, Makenzy Prusaczyk, Shiloh Willis, and Raynie Johnson.
