Vienna rallied, and when Emma Rush banked in a three-pointer with 18.1 seconds left, the Lady Eagles had cut it to 57-55. Rush finished with a game high 25.

Mt. Vernon struggled mightily from the free throw line all day finishing 18-40, but the Lady Rams made enough down the stretch for the six-point win.

Mt. Vernon will face Marion at 4:30 Saturday in one of the quarterfinals.
