Kerley’s departure leaves huge void for Vienna

VIENNA — After five seasons as the head coach for both girls basketball and volleyball for the Vienna Lady Eagles, Jamie Kerley has resigned to take an assistant principal position at Carrier Mills.

In his time coaching at his alma mater, Kerley went 88-69 in girls basketball and won a regional in 2018. On the volleyball side, he has developed feeder programs at the lower levels which has helped the high school team improve.

Kerley sat down with Darren Kinnard to discuss his decision.
