WOODLAWN — Woodlawn senior Aumalie Murdock made her college choice official Tuesday, signing to play volleyball at Rend Lake.

Murdock piled up 1034 career digs. She tallied 420 digs this year, which ranked 36th in the state, regardless of class. She set the school record for digs in a match with 35. Murdock also had a 98 percent serve with 22 aces.

Murdock says location and the fact she had played club volleyball for Rend Lake coach Reggie Bateman made RLC the logical choice for her.
