MARION — Jerzy Bittle scored 21 points, and Gracie Connor added 13 helping Marion win the battle of the Lady Wildcats, rallying to beat Anna-Jonesboro 41-32.

A-J led 9-4 after one quarter and extended that lead to 18-12 at the half. The visiting Lady Wildcats held a 25-19 advantage late in the third, but Marion scored 13 straight points–two to end the third and then the first 11 of the fourth quarter.

Connor scored 10 of her 13 in the fourth, as Marion nearly doubled its output from the first three quarters. Lois Johnson was the only other home Lady Wildcat to score–she finished with seven points.

Addison Denny led Anna-Jonesboro with 20 points.
