CENTRALIA — The Centralia Orphans remained atop the South Seven Conference with a 59-45 win Friday night over the Althoff Crusaders at Trout Arena. The Orphans, who are now 4-0 in the conference, had three players in double figures with 21 points from Koby Wilmoth, 20 from Davin Tabor and 12 from Carson True in the victory. The Orphans found out Friday night that they will be without starting sophomore guard Cruz Harlan for the rest of the season. Harlan has battled an ankle injury for most the season and will undergo surgery in early February.

The Orphans traveled to Evansville Saturday afternoon to play in the Banterra Warrior Showcase at Harrison High School against the Reitz Panthers, a school out of Evansville. Centralia improved to 16-2 with a 64-60 win. The Orphans had three in double digits with Wilmoth leading the way with 21, Tabor added 20, and Jeremy Dalton added some big fourth quarter points to finish with 12. The Panthers led by six halfway through the fourth before the Orphans came back and got the victory.

Centralia will travel to St. Louis Tuesday for a varsity only game at St. Louis Collegiate Medical Bio Science School at 6:00 pm. There will be no radio for that game, but there will be a video stream available. The Orphans will then host Teutopolis Friday night at Cahokia Saturday afternoon.
