MARION — The Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs rallied from a six-point fourth quarter deficit and beat Marion 56-54 in overtime in the opening game of the Black Diamond Wildcat Shootout.

Freshman Jamisen Green led Harrisburg with 16 points, including the the go ahead three-point play in OT. Frankie Leigh Nicholes added 13, including a pair of huge three-pointers in the final 2:56 of regulation to help force overtime.

After Harrisburg had taken a 43-41 lead late in regulation, Marion senior Jerzy Bittle knocked down a pair of free throws to tie the game. Bittle led all scorers with 21.

Trailing by two in the final seconds of OT, Marion had a chance to win the game, but Lydia Phelps desperation attempt from near the midcourt logo was short. Phelps had hit a pair of three-pointers earlier in the OT to keep the Lady Wildcats within striking distance.
