Hamilton County Foxes Math Team Earns Runner-Up Finish at ICTM Regional
The Hamilton County Foxes Math Team has been named the Lynn Braden State Farm Insurance / WMCL Fox of the Week after an outstanding performance at the ICTM Regional Math Contest held Saturday.
The Foxes delivered one of the strongest overall performances in program history, finishing 2nd place overall while placing in every event at the competition. Hamilton County also posted the highest regional score ever recorded by the school with 448 points, a remarkable achievement for the program.
Hamilton County’s success was highlighted by first place finishes in multiple events, including the Freshman/Sophomore 8-Person Team, Calculator Team, and Freshman/Sophomore 2-Person Team, showcasing the depth and talent of the Foxes roster.
In addition to those victories, the Foxes continued to stack up top finishes across the board:

The across-the-board success reflects the hard work and preparation of the Hamilton County students as they competed against some of the top math programs in the region.
With a historic score and placements in every event category, the Foxes once again demonstrated that excellence at Hamilton County extends far beyond the athletic arena.
